SENEQUE, logiciel SIG de modélisation prospective de la qualité de l'eau

Improved knowledge regarding water pollution and dynamic water modeling have contributed to the development of hydrological models to evaluate water quality. When linked to Geographical Information Systems (GIS), these models become more accurate, more flexible and more efficient. In this paper I present an integrated software (SENEQUE) that combines a hydrological model (RIVERSTRAHLER) with a GIS. This software provides a powerful tool for analyzing and simulating changes in surface water quality. For research purposes it provides a means for exploring complex information and interpreting the value of chosen parameters. For applied water management it serves as a collaborative tool.
